Getting Started with Centerly
Go from scattered notebooks and WhatsApp chaos to a fully digital center — in under a week, with zero tech skills required.
The Old Way Is Holding You Back
You know the routine. Student names in a notebook. Payment records in an Excel file that only one person understands. Schedules posted in a WhatsApp group that no one reads past the first day. When a parent calls asking about their child's balance, someone has to dig through papers or scroll through chat history.
The idea of "going digital" sounds great in theory — but every center owner we've talked to has the same fears: What if I lose my data? What if it takes weeks to set up? What if I need to hire a tech person?
Here's the truth: you don't need any of that. Centerly was built specifically for Egyptian education centers, by people who understand how they actually work. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use Centerly.
Sign Up in 60 Seconds
Getting started is as simple as creating a social media account. Head to the registration page, enter your email and a password, and choose a name for your workspace — that's your center's digital home.
No credit card required. No contracts. No phone calls with salespeople. You're in.
The moment you sign up, you'll choose between two modes:
- Center Mode — For centers with multiple branches, teachers, and staff. You get full role-based access, branch management, and team features.
- Solo Teacher Mode — For independent instructors who manage their own students. A streamlined experience with everything you need and nothing you don't.
Pick the one that fits, and you're ready for the next step.
The Guided Setup Wizard
Instead of dropping you into an empty screen and saying "figure it out," Centerly walks you through setup step by step. Think of it like a friendly colleague sitting next to you, asking simple questions.
First, you'll name your center and add basic info — your city, a motto if you have one. Then, you'll create your first branch (even if you only have one location, this is how the system organizes everything). Next, you'll add your first instructor, your first course, and your first group of students.
The whole process takes about 10 minutes. At the end, you have a working digital center — not a half-configured mess that needs "Phase 2" to be useful.
For solo teachers, the wizard is even simpler: just four quick steps covering your profile, what you teach, your class schedule, and your student names. The system handles everything else behind the scenes.
Import Your Existing Students on Day One
Here's what most center owners dread: manually typing in 200 student names, phone numbers, and parent details. That alone could kill the motivation to switch.
Centerly solves this with Excel import. Download our template, paste your existing roster into it — names, phones, parent info, educational levels — and upload it. The system validates everything, tells you if anything looks off, and creates all the records in one go.
If your data is already in Excel (and let's be honest, most centers have at least some data in spreadsheets), you can be fully imported within a day. No retyping. No data loss. Your existing records become your new digital records.
From Zero to QR Attendance in One Week
Here's what a realistic first week looks like:
Days 1–2: You register, complete the setup wizard, and get familiar with the interface. Explore the dashboard, click around, see how things are organized.
Days 3–4: You import your student roster via Excel. Add your courses and groups. Set up the weekly schedule — which days, which times, which rooms.
Days 5–6: Invite your teachers. Share student portal links via WhatsApp. Let everyone log in and see their data.
Day 7: You run your first session with QR attendance. Students scan a code on the screen, their attendance is recorded instantly, and parents get notified. No paper sheets. No calling out names.
That's one week from "I've never used this" to "My center is running digitally." And you didn't need to hire anyone or read a manual to get there.
You're Not Alone in This
Switching to a new system can feel lonely — especially when you're the one making the decision for your team. But you should know: hundreds of Egyptian centers have already made this transition with Centerly.
If you get stuck at any point, help is always available. The interface is designed to be self-explanatory, with guidance built into every step. And if something doesn't make sense, our support team understands the Egyptian education center context — they won't ask you to "check your API key" or "clear your cache."
The hardest part is clicking "Sign Up." Everything after that is easier than you think.
